What is baffling to me though is this has always been my workflow, view and open files via lightroom, edit color space in camera raw.
Did lightroom previously take the camera raw settings?

This Forum conversation was a Godsend to me. But there is still something that I am missing.
Except for substituting my own instance names and file names, I used the exact code in the reply above. The swf from that code loads the swf file perfectly. But the AIR app will not load that swf.
Is there something else I should know.

Thank you for your answer - I uploaded 3 files to the following dropbox linked file:
- First, a new GPX file I just downloaded this evening from followmee.com - this time I set if for the past three days to be all inclusive
- Next, there are two image files, one taken yesterday (the 30th) and one today - both taken from the same spot actually (trying to catch moonrise over the local mountains).
Note that when I load the GPX file into the map module it does show the blue tracing line of my whereabouts (which it has alays done, as usual).
A new weirdness today is that, just for yuks, I attempted to apply the locations to all the shots I took yesterday and today - and this time LR DID assign locations to the files from yesterday! Mind you, yesterday it failed to find mathing photos in the umpteen times i attempted the process - I downloaded various timespan GPX files from followmee at least 6 times yesterday and each time, the map showed the blue trace and yet would not assign coordinates to the photos I took yesterday.
Today it was able to apply locations to yesteday's images, but not todays! Is it somehow running a day behind?
Anyway, do please let me know if it makes any sense to you.
Meanwhile, I am still unable to select multiple images in the library modules and drag them to a different folder in the Folders panel - that's another new glitch that just started happening yesterday.

I don't have rezise to fit enabled, so should I enable it to my screen resolution?
Already using sRGB.
Changed it to 80, couldn't really see the difference so thank you, will be using that. Didn't change the blurriness though.
Haven't done any calibration at all, will look in to that and see if it at least helps with the contrast, the blur is what bothers me the most though.

The Lab color space not only exceeds monitor gamut (as do AdobeRGB and ProPhotoRGB in most cases), it far exceeds even the RGB and CMYK gamuts.

I followed the directions, but I cannot change permissions on /System/Library/Components/PDFImporter.component to add myself (even though I am doing this both via Finder and Terminal as root):

In Acrobat 11, when adding a signature via the Fill&Sign tool, and then saving the file, the file name has -signed appended to it. I would like to know if there is a way to retain the original file name. My organization uses a mixed environment - currently in transition to Acrobat 2017 from Acrobat 11. Acrobat 2017 does not append the file name, and we would like to have consistent behavior across our environment. I have looked through the settings and registry and dont see anything that jumps out at me. Any help is appreciated.
As far as I know this is how it has always worked. The only time that camera raw changes the color space of the main document is on the first open when it actually shows you camera raw and before the actual document is created. If you later go back into camera raw, it only changes the color space of the embedded image and not of the container. The reason is probably that the smart object is only one of many possible layers in the document that will all be in the main document's color space. You can embed smart objects of any color space in a document and Photoshop simply converts them on the fly. I just tried and created a single document with 3 smart object layers in Lab, prophotoRGB, and one in CMYK.

また過去も2年サイクルでメジャーアップデートをしていたわけなので、さすがに5年経過としてから
古いバージョンの入手を要望するのは、少々後手に回りすぎという気もします。

I also tried everything listed in this tread and for some reason Polar Coordinates is no longer working. I JUST used this over a week ago to render a tiny planet and it worked flawlessly. I updated Photoshop and now the feature is useless.. I deleted preferences and even uninstalled/reinstalled, deleted my system's cache, and refreshed the registry. Nothing works.

you may have installed additional language support, I believe this feature is only usable when English is the only language selected.

If it is not resizing upon export what is happening is that the resolution of your image is many times bigger than the actual image. The image viewer you are using then has to scale down the image for display and many image viewers use not very good algorithms to do that resulting in blurriness. This therefore has nothing to do with the file but with the image viewer. You should try different image viewers or simply reimport the exported jpeg into Lightroom. There you will see it will look identical. Also you can try zooming to 100% (sometimes called 1:1) in the image viewer you are using and compare it to 1:1 in Lightroom. You will see that all detail is there.
Another option is to export at smaller size. So you want to scale down to for example 1000 pixels on the long side. If you do that, it is best to also do medium strength output sharpening for screen display (all in the export panel). When you export an image to a smaller size that is smaller than the resolution of your display, you are forcing the image viewer you are using to display the image at 100% (each pixel in the file is one pixel on your display) and it will not do any scaling that could blur the picture.

The folder named 19980101-Francis has 55 images in it. If you click on that folder do you see 55 images in the Grid view?
The next folder down, ### Cort's Wedding has at least one subfolder, which is denoted by the solid grey color triangle, and has 139 images in either the top level folder or in the subfolder/subfolders under that top level folder. If you click the solid grey color triangle how many subfolders does it contain and what number of images are in each subfolder?
If you click on one of them or the top level folder are all the images displayed.
You do have multiple folders that only contain 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 images in them. If one of those is selected then the only images in the grid view area will only be those 1, 2, 3, or 4 images that are in that specific folder.
In one of your other screen shots you show part of the folders section and the Grid view section and in the grid view there are 2 images of Go Carts. You have a folder named Kart Racing that only has 2 images in it. As far I can tell LR is displaying all the images that are in that folder.
Select one of the other folders that has multiple images in it, like one of the top folder that I mentioned above, and post another screen shot of the FULL LR window and make sure the folder you have selected in the Folders area is displayed, IE Highlighted.
But to be honest I don't see the problem you are talking about.
As far as I can tell LR is displaying all the images that are in the folder you have selected.
